Jimmy’s Ark

Jimmy's Ark is our Messy Church for children and families at Saint James!

Jimmy's Ark takes its name from our patron saint, Saint James, and its rainbow logo from God's covenant of grace with Noah and with the whole People of God.

Our pattern of meeting varies between 10am on a Sunday morning and 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. We meet once a month and we follow the seasons of the churches year. The details of the sessions are advertised on our notice sheet, which can be found in the What’s On section of the website.

When we meet on a Sunday morning we have Messy Church activities and also join part of the Sunday morning worship with the congregation, making music with our instruments and sharing faith across the generations.

When we meet on a Sunday afternoon, the session is dedicated to story, song, craft activities, snack and prayers - and plenty of laughter! - which children and young people and young people and their parents or carers share together.

Jimmy’s Ark will meet next at 3pm on Sunday 1 September. Please do come along!
